St Joseph’s Catholic School
Whilst completing my PGCE year as a SUPA trainee, I received exceptional academic training from the University of Southampton and experience from my placement schools. The great aspect of the SUPA training programme is that you are put into your placement schools at the first opportunity to gain a taste of the teaching profession and observe experienced professionals. As a SUPA trainee not only do you have a support network from fellow university trainees but you also are provided with an additional SUPA support network of trainee teachers in a variety of subjects. The SUPA training programme provided me with the knowledge and expertise for my first teaching position in a SUPA school.
